Introduction

Welcome to AI Wallpaper Generator, the AI-powered wallpaper creation platform designed to help you create stunning wallpapers instantly. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and this privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Wallume iOS App (First Release)

The Wallume iOS app and this website have different features and data practices. The website-specific categories described later in this policy do not mean that the first iOS release collects those categories.

For the first Wallume iOS release:

  • There is no account or sign-in, advertising, in-app purchase, third-party analytics or advertising SDK, IDFA access, or cross-app tracking.
  • The app sends HTTPS requests to our service only to load the public wallpaper catalog and obtain the wallpaper file the user selected. These requests do not include a Wallume account, advertising identifier, Photos content, local Library history, or favorites, and are not used to build an app-user profile.
  • Wallpaper history, favorites, bounded thumbnails, and app settings stay on the device. The app requests add-only Photos permission only after the user chooses to save a wallpaper; it does not read the Photos library for browsing or analytics.
  • The Video maker lets the user choose one of their own videos and converts it to a Live Photo locally on the device. The selected video is not uploaded to us or to an AI provider. The current iOS app does not itself upload a photo for AI animation; the service's photo-to-animation feature and its retained, named-provider handling are described under AI Content Generation below.
  • Removing the app removes its app-owned local metadata and cache. Wallpapers already saved to Photos remain under the user's control and can be deleted in Photos.

Our production CDN and origin access logs retain limited request metadata beyond the real-time request: IP-derived country or region, User-Agent, request path, response status, and timing. We use it for aggregate traffic measurement, security and abuse prevention, uptime, debugging, and performance. Cloudflare Free Security Events can retain sampled request data for up to 24 hours and Security Analytics for up to 7 days. Origin access logs follow hosting log rotation and are kept only as operationally necessary. This metadata is not joined to a Wallume account, used for advertising, or used for cross-app or cross-site tracking. The App Store disclosure classifies it as Coarse Location, Product Interaction, and Other Diagnostic Data, not linked to the user and not used for tracking.

The remaining sections describe the website and its optional account, generation, analytics, and payment features.

    • Third-Party Analytics Services: We may use one or more of the following analytics providers, each subject to their own privacy policies:

      • OpenPanel — collects anonymized usage metrics for product analytics.
      • Plausible Analytics — a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data.

    • Opt-Out: You can disable cookies through your browser settings. For Google Analytics, you may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

  6. Payment and Billing Information

    • Purpose: To facilitate billing and payment processing for our premium services and features.

Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously. The data we collect is stored securely on our servers, and we implement a variety of security measures including encryption and access controls to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

AI Content Generation

When you use our AI wallpaper generation services:

  • Your text inputs and design preferences are processed by our AI algorithms to create custom wallpapers.
  • We may temporarily store your inputs to process your requests and improve our AI models.
  • Photo-to-animation generation: when you upload a source photo to turn it into an animated wallpaper, the photo is stored in our first-party storage and shared with our third-party generation provider, APIMart (model kling-v3-omni), to produce the animation. The source photo and the generated output are retained (they are stored, not processed-and-immediately-discarded) and remain private to your account. The provider's own handling of the submitted image is governed by the provider's terms. You can delete a source photo from within the app, and account deletion removes your retained source photos and generated outputs under the schedule in Data Retention below.
  • Rights and permitted uses for generated and catalog wallpapers are governed by the applicable provider terms and our Catalog Usage Terms. This Privacy Policy does not grant a public-domain or no-attribution license.
  • We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our AI algorithms and service quality.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as required by law.

If you delete your account through the app or website account deletion flow, we immediately revoke active sessions and mobile refresh credentials. We delete or irreversibly disassociate active account records, provider links, synced Library metadata, and private user assets within 30 days after a verified deletion request. Backup, disaster-recovery, and operational log copies may persist for up to 90 days before normal rotation removes them.

We may retain limited records where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud or abuse prevention, chargebacks or payment disputes, copyright/takedown handling, legal holds, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service. We keep a minimal deletion audit record containing a request ID, terminal state, and completion time so support can verify the deletion outcome without exposing deleted personal data.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by using the account deletion flow or contacting us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "effective date" at the top of this policy.
