Image to Animated Wallpaper

Upload a source photo and AI turns it into a short moving wallpaper. This image to animated wallpaper workflow keeps your photo as the base and outputs a 9:16 MP4 or WebM loop.

Animate an image into a wallpaper

Upload a JPG or PNG, add a motion hint, and generate a 9:16 animated wallpaper MP4 or WebM from your photo.

Sample image-to-animation output

A real 9:16 MP4 generated from an uploaded image — 720×1280 portrait, about 6 seconds, no watermark.

Image quality and device compatibility

The output is an MP4 or WebM video file. It works on devices and apps that support short looping videos as wallpapers. Source images that animate best include portraits with a clear subject, nature scenes with a visible horizon, and compositions with a defined foreground layer. Highly detailed textures or extreme close-ups may produce less convincing motion. This tool does not install the wallpaper for you and does not create a native iPhone Live Photo file.

Turn an image into an animated wallpaper

Image to Animated Wallpaper is the upload-first workflow on this studio. Instead of asking AI to invent the whole scene, you bring a source image — a portrait, landscape, product shot, or artwork — and the motion engine creates a short wallpaper loop from it. The output is a 9:16 MP4 or WebM file, with options up to 15 seconds and up to 4K MP4. Portrait subjects with clear foreground separation animate most convincingly. Square photos are normalized to 9:16 during generation. This tool creates a video wallpaper file; it does not create an iPhone Live Photo directly.

Best fit for image to animated wallpaper searches

This page is for users who already have a source image and want to animate it into a wallpaper loop. It is intentionally different from the prompt-first animated wallpaper generator.

Upload-first workflow

Start with your own JPG or PNG. The image remains the visual base while AI adds motion.

Motion hints, not full video editing

Guide the loop with simple motion hints such as gentle zoom, drifting particles, or slow camera movement.

Clear Live Photo boundary

The site outputs MP4 or WebM. iPhone Live Photo conversion, if needed, happens later in a separate third-party app.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your source image

Drop a JPG or PNG into the generator. Portrait orientation and subjects with clear foreground separation tend to animate most naturally.

  2. 2

    Add a motion hint

Optionally guide the animation with a short phrase such as gentle upward drift, slow zoom in, or subtle water movement. Leave it blank for a default ambient loop.

  3. 3

    Download the animated wallpaper MP4

The generator returns a 9:16 short-loop MP4 or WebM. Default settings keep the first run lightweight, and premium output options can go up to 4K MP4.

What this image animation tool does not do

This is not a full video editor and not an iPhone Live Photo converter. It adds a short ambient or character-style loop to a source image; it does not produce complex scene cuts, long videos, or device-native wallpaper packages. The final setup step always happens on your device or in a supported app.

Use the animated MP4 on Android, iPhone, or PC

Once your image is animated, pick the setup guide that matches your device. The video output is the same MP4 file across every device.

FAQ

What image formats can I upload?

The generator accepts JPG and PNG uploads. Square images are automatically normalized to 9:16 during processing. Very small images (under 512px on the short side) may produce lower-quality results.

Will every photo animate well?

Not necessarily. Portraits with a clear subject against a softer background tend to animate most convincingly. Highly detailed textures, extreme close-ups, and images with complex repeating patterns may produce less natural motion. Preview the result before saving.

Can I use this to create an iPhone Live Photo?

This tool outputs an MP4 or WebM file, not an Apple Live Photo. To use the output as an iPhone Live Photo, you would need a third-party app after downloading the MP4. That conversion workflow is not provided or guaranteed by this site.

Is there a watermark on the downloaded file?

No. The downloaded MP4 or WebM file has no watermark. Commercial reuse is subject to the site's general terms.
